MWM #48 and Crop Challenges

We all know I Love Love Love Scrapbook steals (SS). they are an awesome scrapbook supply deal site but they are also a great group of ladies.. Occasionally they hold an online crop, where we all get together around our computers and chat and scrap.. well mostly chat. This month was one of the croppy goodness months, so we all gathered around and chatted. SS also will give out challenges for the crop and when you complete them you get a chance to win a some free goodies!! Who would pass up free goodies :raises hand: not this scrappy diva. The first challenge is always the weekly Midweek Mojo Sketch. Challenge two is a number challenge. You have to use a certain amount of certain items or supplies.. It was 1 die-cut, 3 different inks/glimmer mists, 5 different patterened papers, 7 brads, and 9 buttons.. Not to hard right? WRONG, you have to figure out how to get everything to go with each other and that is not the easiest thing to do.. Challenge three is an inspiration photo.. it is just a bunch of random summery photos that we are to draw inspiration from.. Challenge 4 is a Gender swap, you have to use boy paper to scrap a girl page and vise versa.. And lastly Challenge five was a bonus sketch. Just a simple one page three photo page.

Fathers Day Album MWM #43,44,45

My Husband has been asking me for an album of his own since he saw the one I had for our youngest Andru. I decided to make him one for Fathers day. I got a 6x6 mini album and went to work. I must say making 6x6 pages when you are used to 12x12 is really hard. I was a few weeks behind on Midweek Mojos from a site I follow so I scaled down and managed to get them all done. I also tried a few new techniques on this album, I scrap lifted a paper weaving techinque from a crafty friend on line. I also used a few of my new sew easy heads and some lovely twine I recently got from the group of crafty ladies when we all went in together and got an awesome deal.

I had the boys both make a picture to add to the album and a hand print. I have gotten andrus hand prints on tiles since he was 3 weeks old and Chuck has always wanted one. So I did the best I could with just ink.

Here is the album, in the order it is in the book.

I am going to write a letter to Chuck on his page (below) but the words haven't come to me yet.

Yes, those are bud light cans and No they are not open, Andru was teething and liked to cold metal to chew on.
